Can't stop laughing at the alien mega lol tail. The concept designer must have been smoking some bad stuff, because It's ridiculous to say the least.

I hope we are getting some serious aliens in ACM and not these dwarfs with megaLOOL tails crawling everywhere.

heheh, It's even bigger than the alien Itself.

Actually, you can not downgrade the alien more than in avp3..., It's going to be difficult doing worse. Rebellion put it to easy to GB when It comes to the alien design, and I wonder what were they thinking about when they did the avp3 alien so small and with such a ridiculous and oversized tail. It's just like the alien for the kids, small, not very intimidating, and with a lol tail for the kids to groove with It.

Ah, and don,t forget about those rabid dog sounds when one of these dwarfs is stalking you in MP..., is that a velociraptor?, a rabid dog?, maybe a jaguar?, no!, It's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL avp3 warrior

Come on GB, now you got It too easy, the alien can't be done worse.

I do wonder what the thinking behind the alien design was. I'm happy it at least looks like an alien, just a little different. I can deal with the size, but the tail is "LOL". haha. Why didnt they just stick with what the tail looked like in the movies? My only thinking is that they wanted to put their own spin on the alien.

Simple really. Consider the number of attacks the Marine has. Consider the number of attacks the Pred has. Consider, if the Alien didn't have the longer weaponised tail, how few attacks it would have. The tail is necessary to flesh out the attacking options for one third of the protagonists.

AvP is the best representation of the Alien we've had in popular media for many years; tail aside, it's a pretty faithful interpretation.
